Training

Our approach to training is simple and effective. Initially, students train on basic equipment to grasp the fundamentals of audio operations. As their knowledge and confidence grows, they are introduced to more advanced concepts and comprehensive audio systems.

Finally, they graduate to our larger, in-house, professional recording studios where we prepare them for careers as professionals in the industry.

The FETAC, City & Guilds and ProTools qualifications offered by Pulse have proved invaluable for placing students in full-time employment.

Industry Training

We also provide specialised courses for the industry. These training programmes are devised by our own experts, and tailored to suit the unique workflow and needs of our clients. We have delivered in-house training for many organisations and institutions including RTE, Today FM, and FÁS.

Location

Pulse Recording College and Studios are situated off Camden Street, in the heart of Dublin.

Just a few minutes walk from Grafton Street and Georges Street, Pulse is in a vibrant area which is home to a variety of shops, coffee shops, outdoor markets and restaurants to suit all budgets. At night, Camden Street buzzes with students attending gigs in Whelans and The Village or playing pool in the historical Palace.

Accommodation

The Dublin 8 area is a prime location for student accommodation. Areas such as Merchants Quay, Portobello, South Circular Road, Ranalegh, Rathmines, Rathgar and Harold's Cross are all within the immediate vicinity.
